NPCs are organized by general game setting (thematic chapters), in reverse
chronological order of first appearance. Character importance is noted through
- Major characters are in 'bold' (relevant for most of the campaign)
- Minor characters are in 'italics' (relevant for several episodes); and

|Spirit of Duerra / Saman
|Stowaway aboard the Spirit of Duerra, the party's commandeered surface ship.
|Old Shadowfell Elf and apparent head of the Shadowfell group aboard the Fortress. A few in the party sustain the conspiracy that she's Krisyra in disguise.

|Young, exceptionally wealthy, Dwarven noble who seeks to exploit the party for gains in personal reputation. He was killed by the party in Episode 28 after his failed attempt to assassinate the party using Shield Golems.

|Chief of Patrol of the town of Neifur. Responsible for oversight and strategy of the rangers and scouts that protect the town.
|Elven scientist, tiefling mage, and a powerful being of many forms. In Episode 21 the party learns from Niserie might be a LeShey. She is driving the party to move beyond the safe lands of
|Elven interrogator of one of of Edhen's military and security departments. He was in charge of the party's captivity and missions.
|Derogatory human name of the law enformement, army, and administrative state of the Dwarven empire.
|Powerful being (another LeShay?) who saved the party in Episode 4 and sent the party on a side quest in Episode 22.
